Numerous 3D CAD ”“ Computer-aided Design ”“ renders of the iPhone 14 Pro have appeared online revealing the hole-punch design of the device display as legitimate, as well as coming to the next-generation pro models.

Rumors, leaks, and speculation regarding the iPhone 14 started before the launch of the iPhone 13 lineup. The first major rumors came out in early September 2021 by reliable leaker and YouTuber Jon Prosser ”“ who reported that Apple will remove the notch and replace it with a hole-punch design.

Fast-forward to January of this year, a rumor from reliable leaker @dylandkt claimed that the iPhone 14 Pro will have a pill-shaped camera cutout, backing Prosser’s claims. Now, according to renders shared by 91mobiles, the next iPhone will indeed gain the pill-shaped camera with a lowercase “i”-shaped design.

One thing to also take from these renders is that despite the ongoing rumors of a flat rear camera array, here we see a big camera bump similar to current iPhones.

The publication has stated that the iPhone 14 Pro will “come with a pill-shaped cutout on the display and a smaller circular cutout to accommodate the Face ID sensors and selfie camera.”

Additionally, the outlet says that the upcoming pro models will be powered by the A16 chip and 6GB of RAM while the standard models will retain the A15 chip, matching Ming-Chi Kuo’s report.

91mobiles is considered reliable, back in February, the publication reported that Apple imported the iPhone SE 3 and the iPad Air 5 to India for internal testing which turned out to be correct as the two products were launched one month later.

Apple is expected to debut the iPhone 14 lineup this September, other than the refreshed design, the devices could feature a 48MP camera system, 8K video, and potentially a full eSIM variant.
