Both of Apple’s new 96W and 140W USB-C power adapters are experiencing significant shipping delays.

This is being seen from customers that are trying to get it standalone, as opposed to those who have it available when they purchase a new 14-inch or 16-inch MacBook Pros.

Shipping dates for the power adapters are currently slated at 6-8 weeks and will not be available to ship until late September or early October.

Apple did state during its latest earnings call that it was seeing some shipping delays for its products and accessories but predicts conditions will improve by this September.
