Later this month, HBO Max will be rebranded as “MAX” and be a combination of both HBO Max and Discovery+ content from the merger with Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD).
The rebranded streaming service is said to launch on Tuesday, May 23 in the United States. It is also expected to launch in other parts of the world throughout the rest of this year and into 2024.
Interested users can already pre-order the new MAX app in the App Store. It is a free app to download and then users can sign into both their previous HBO Max or Discovery+ accounts to sign in. The app will also have in-app purchases available for their subscriptions to include the monthly ad-supported and ad-free subscriptions, as well as the ad-free and ad-supported yearly tiers too.
