Apple is planning to hold its iPhone September event on the second Wednesday of September – the 13th, as reported by 9to5Mac. They stated that carriers and collaborators are advised not to take that day off, presumably for the upcoming announcement.
Every year, Apple usually announces a new iPhone model in September. If the device is announced on September 13th, pre-orders can take place on Friday, the 15th, with delivery to customers taking place on September 22nd.
The devices that may be presented at the event will be the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the Apple Watch Series 9. An analyst of Bank of America who had also said that the iPhone 12 will be delayed in 2020, has now stated that some models of the iPhone 15 could be delayed, because of the thin bezels and difficulty of the production of the screen.
As rumored, the new iPhone 15 and its Plus version will feature the Dynamic Island, which was previously seen on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. Additionally, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max lineup will have significantly reduced bezels on the display and improved battery life, among other enhancements.
While we may not know the confirmed date of the next event, we do know that Apple typically sends out invitations to the press about one or two weeks prior to the event.
