New Mastodon app now available on the Apple Watch

Avatar for David Becker

Just weeks after the shut down of Chirp for Apple Watch, an app that enabled users to view Twitter from their Apple Watch.

Now the same developer of Chirp, Will Bishop, has released a new Apple Watch app called “Stomp for Mastodon,” which essentially enables users to view their Mastodon timeline from their Apple Watch.

The way to get it to work on your Apple Watch is after you have installed the app on your iPhone, you will then have to sign into your account from the app on said iPhone, and once that is done (and the app is on your Apple Watch) you will be able to view your Mastodon timeline right from your Apple Watch.

Stomp is available for free on the App Store. It does have in-app purchases for Stomp Pro starting at $2.99.

Do you plan on using Stomp for Mastodon? Comment below or let us know on Twitter at @appleosophy.
