NFL+ launched last year and the streaming service enables users to stream their local NFL games on CBS, FOX, and NBC from mobile devices like the iPhone and iPad.
For preseason football going on now, users can stream those games live from the devices mentioned above, as well as the Apple TV 4K since the mobile streaming rules only apply to the regular season and playoff games.
It was announced today that the monthly and yearly prices of NFL+, like with many other streaming services recently, are going up.
The baseline NFL+ price is going to $6.99 a month (previously $4.99 a month) and the NFL+ Premium plan got the heftiest price increase to $14.99 a month (previously $9.99 a month). These prices can be subscribed to through the NFL app in-app purchases in the App Store
The NFL+ yearly prices for the streaming service stay the same at $39.99 a year (NFL+ plan) and $79.99 a year (NFL+ Premium plan). You can view the plans and their full features here.
One additional add-on with the NFL+ plan is that users now get a live 24/7 feed of NFL Network that can be viewed on an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV 4K.
NFL+ Premium gets the same NFL Network streaming feature but also gets the ability for users to stream NFL RedZone on their iPhone, iPad, Mac, as well on their bigger on an Apple TV 4K. Another feature it gets is “Full, condensed and all-22 coaches film replays, all ad-free.”
Lastly, the other nice feature about both plans for NFL+ is users can have three streams of the service going at once.
Be sure to see how you can stream the 2023 NFL preseason while you’re at it too.
Price increases with streaming services has been quite prevalent this year with services like Paramount+, Peacock, Britbox, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, YouTube Premium, and music streaming services like Spotify have all announced and/or launched price increases in the past couple of months. Netflix removed its cheapest ad-free 9.99 Basic tier this summer too.
