When Apple announced that it would phase out leather in all of its current and future accessories in favor of its eco-friendly FineWoven material, it turned out that Apple would continue its partnership with Hermès, but this time, the French designer company introduced a wide selection of new woven and knitted bands that bring out a new style for watch enthusiasts.
In spite of the fact that you can’t order leather watch bands or an Apple Watch with one directly from Apple anymore, Hermès evidently continues to offer its own leather bands when you go to its website, as spotted by Parker Ortolani.
Not only there are several existing and new leather bands that you can choose from, but also you can purchase stainless steel Series 9 models bundled with those leather bands as well. Since only Hermès designed those leather bands for the Apple Watch, it can still distribute its leather band selections and bundles on its website as designing leather accessories has been such a long tradition for Hermès. Hermès also offers the leather AirPods Pro case and bag charms, key rings, and luggage tags for AirTag. If you still prefer a luxury leather band, the best option for you is to purchase one directly from Hermès as Apple no longer offers leather watch bands from its website.
The Apple Watch Series 9 Hermès models are available to purchase today at both Apple and Hermès, with band options that you can purchase separately as well.
