Today, Apple launched something big on its Support website. It’s adding an all-new “Documentation” webpage that unifies all the references you may need to know about any product that Apple has made. Not only it’s a one-stop place to download user guides, but also it’s the ultimate official archive of all the documentation from Apple.

At the new “Documentation” section’s home screen, you’ll be greeted with any of the product categories to choose from, and it has every Apple product cover: Mac, iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, Vision Pro, AirPods, Apple TV, HomePod, iPod, Displays, Accessories, and Software. They even have technical specs for Mac models as far back as the original Macintosh (128K) that was introduced 40 years ago.

You may not noticed this, but if you went to any technical specs page for an older Apple product, the specs were listed in ordinary plain white text in a “Lucinda Grande” font – the same font used in the earliest versions of Mac OS X. Needless to say that the layout/design of the pages has now been considered antiquated nowadays as those tech spec pages were made to be viewed on older Apple devices. So it was time for Apple to give those webpages an overdue makeover, and the new layout is now more organized than ever. Even better, those webpages work dynamically based on the system appearances when you’re in Dark Mode on a Mac, iPhone, or iPad.

If you ever need to download software or want to look up any manuals for vintage Apple products, the Documentation site is the right place for you.
