iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Mini 4 make their way to Apple’s “Obsolete” and “Vintage” list

Apple has added more devices to its obsolete and vintage product list today, which has now included two major products.

These two new products are the iPhone 6 Plus and the iPad Mini 4.

When Apple says a product is “obsolete,” it means that Apple Stores, along with Apple Authorized Service Providers are no longer doing or offering repairs on those types of devices.

The iPhone 6 Plus launched alongside the iPhone 6 in September 2014. Both phones came with a new redesign of the iPhone, as well as support for Apple Pay and taller screen sizes.

When it comes to the iPad Mini fourth generation, it being considered “vintage” means that it has now been at least five years since the company stopped the distribution of the product. However, unlike the iPhone 6 Plus, Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers will still be able to do repairs on this iPad Mini as long as the parts are available for repair.
