It has been announced by Showtime that it will be shutting down the Showtime streaming service soon.

Starting on Tuesday, April 30, the Showtime streaming service will be shut down. As of Wednesday, May 1, the only way to subscribe to Showtime content will be through Paramount+ with Showtime.

Right now, Paramount+ with Showtime costs $11.99 a month. That plan can be subscribed to through the Paramount+ app in the App Store via in-app purchases.

Other features of that plan include having an ad-free experience along with a live 24/7 feed of your local CBS station which can be good for streaming the local news and sporting events like college basketball, college football, and the NFL on CBS. Users also have the ability to download episodes of TV shows and full movies to their devices for offline viewing.
