Apple releases new ad featuring iPod Nano and new M4 iPad Pro

This is definitely not something I’d assume many people had on their 2024 Apple bingo cards, but the company has released a new ad across its social media that shows off how thin the new M4 iPad Pro is.

In doing so, Apple highlights how the new iPad Pro is thinner than Apple’s previous thinnest product ever, which was the iPod Nano seventh generation that was originally released in 2012 and discontinued in July 2017.

While Apple has not put the ad on its YouTube channel or on TV, it has been found on social networks such as Instagram and Snapchat.

For reference, the iPod Nano seventh generation was 5.4mm thin and the new M4 iPad Pro is just 5.1mm thin, making it Apple’s thinnest product ever.

Those that are interested in pre-ordering the new iPad Pro can do so now through Apple’s website. Its app and website are saying that it should be available by Wednesday, May 15.

What are your thoughts on Apple incorporating the old iPod Nano seventh generation into an ad with the new M4 iPad Pro? Comment below or let us know on X at @appleosophy.
