Apple has started rolling out macOS Sequoia 15.0.1 (24A348) to the public with several important bug fixes. This update comes two weeks after the release of macOS Sequoia 15.0 which debuted with iPhone mirroring, Easier window tiling, and more. Apple keeps refining the software experience with every 15.x.x update whilst also fixing security issues.

Here are the bugs that have been fixed according to the Release Notes:

  • Messages may unexpectedly quit when replying to a message with a shared Apple Watch face
  • Improves compatibility with third-party security software

Some features may not be available for all regions or on all Apple devices.

Apple has yet to publish CVE entries for macOS 15.0.1, and it’s possible that this does not contain any other security fixes as macOS Sonoma 15.0 addressed 76 security vulnerabilities.

These updates are available on all devices that support macOS Sequoia 15.0 including:

  • MacBook Air (2020 and later)
  • MacBook Pro (2018 and later)
  • iMac (2019 and later)
  • iMac Pro (2017)
  • Mac mini (2018 and later)
  • Mac Studio (2022 and later)
  • Mac Pro (2019 and later)

It is highly recommended to update your Mac to the latest software for the best experience. Did you find any new features with this update?
