Chick-fil-A app officially gets support for CarPlay

Avatar for David Becker

We reported last month that Chick-fil-A was said to be in the process of adding support for CarPlay into its iOS app. Now it appears as though the support is officially there.

It is best that when you use the app that you have an account set up through the Chick-fil-A app or website already, that way it is easier to place and pay for orders when using the CarPlay app.

Essentially how it works is when the app is opened, you can view local and nearby Chick-fil-A locations, choose the location you want to order from, and then pick out which items from the company you want to order. However, you cannot see the full menu of items and only items you have favorited on your account previously.

If you want to see said full menu, you will need to open the Chick-fil-A app on your iPhone to do that.

When you are in the process of placing an order you can choose to get your order via drive-thru, restaurant pickup, or curbside pickup. The default payment method will be the one that is already on your Chick-fil-A account or Chick-fil-A One balance.

The app looks as though it was updated to support CarPlay in its newest update that was released earlier today to the public in Version 2024.19.0,
