Apple has started rolling out macOS Sequoia 15.5 to the public with bug fixes and security updates for supported Macs.
This update comes almost a month after the release of macOS Sequoia 15.4.1 which also debuted with bug fixes and security improvements. Apple keeps refining the software experience with every 15.x. update whilst also fixing issues.
According to Apple, “This update includes enhancements, bug fixes, and security updates for your Mac.
Some features may not be available for all regions, or on all Apple devices.

Upcoming updates to macOS 15 Sequoia is now expected to only include refinements and security patches as Apple gears up for macOS 16, which will be announced at WWDC 2025.
macOS Sequoia 15.5 is available for:
- MacBook Air (2020 and later)
- MacBook Pro (2018 and later)
- iMac (2019 and later)
- iMac Pro (2017)
- Mac mini (2018 and later)
- Mac Studio (2022 and later)
- Mac Pro (2019 and later)
