With watchOS 26, more watch faces take full advantage of Series 10’s upgraded display

Apple Watch Series 10 because the first Apple Watch model to feature the improved LTPO3 display, which is more efficient, and it allows for the ticking seconds indicator to refresh even in always-on mode. However, existing watch faces, particularly the analog ones, didn’t immediately take full advantage of the Series 10’s upgraded display.

On day 1, the only watch faces that supported updating seconds in always-on display mode are: Flux, Reflections, and Activity Digital. Throughout the year, when Apple introduced the Black Unity Rhythm Sport Loop and Pride Edition Sport Band (2025), their complimentary watch faces also supported this improved always-on display mode, bringing a total of five supported watch faces.

Apple Watch Series 10 owners have been pounding on the table on what should’ve been an easy fix for Apple, but with the unveiling of watchOS 26, it looks like this problem is going to be remedied soon as a wide plethora of existing watch faces will support Series 10’s exclusive feature. This will include:

Activity Analog, Activity Digital, California, Color, Contour, Count Up, Flux, GMT, Infograph, Meridian, Metropolitan, Nike Analog, Numerals Mono, Pride Harmony, Reflections, Stripes, Solar Analog, Unity Rhythm, and Utility.

However, despite the following watch faces capable of displaying seconds, they still lack support for Series 10’s always-on mode:

Chronograph Pro, Kaleidoscope, Lunar, Mickey Mouse, Modular Compact, Palette, Pride Analog, Pride Celebration, Solar Dial, Snoopy, Unity Bloom, Unity Lights, and World Time.

Keep in mind that a few of these watch faces have a more custom design for displaying the seconds hand.
