Apple introduces Apple Watch Series 11, elevating the overall Apple Watch experience to the next level with new health-related features, enhanced connectivity, and even improved battery life. Series 10 from last year brought a newer design with the improved LTPO3 display, but this year’s Series 11 brings a solid upgrade overall.

For aluminum models, the Ion-X cover glass is now more durable now that it offers 2x more scratch resistance. Titanium models retain the sapphire front crystal, which still takes the crown as the most scratch-resistant and crack-resistant material covering a display. For years, the main Apple Watch Series have had the same “18-hours of battery life” claim, but now, Apple was able to pack in an even bigger battery with more capacity in the same size, so for Series 11, you’ll now get up to 24 hours of battery life, which should be more than enough to wear an Apple Watch after a long day of usage.

Additionally, as with other Apple Watch models introduced today, even the Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 11 now supports faster 5G cellular connectivity, so you can stay connected on the go, and have greater performance when downloading content faster. Apple Watch Series 11 brings two new watch faces: Flow and Exactograph.

Apple Watch Series 11 brings another important health feature – hypertension notifications, which can alert users if signs of chronic high blood pressure – or hypertension – are detected. Hypertension can be a “silent killer” since there has been no symptoms for it, and thus it has often been undiagnosed. To notify users of potential signs of hypertension, the optical heart sensor analyzes data using the calculated data based on how the blood vessels respond to the beats of the heart. Other health-related features coming to watchOS 26 are: Sleep Score and Workout Buddy.

Apple Watch Series 11 is available in 42mm and 46mm case sizes in both 100% recycled aluminum cases (silver/space gray/rose gold/jet black) and 100% recycled titanium cases (natural/gold/slate). Apple also offers new colors for its existing suite of Apple Watch bands. Apple Watch Series 11 starts at $399, and you can order it starting today. Series 11 will be available Friday, September 19.
