Apple has confirmed that the 2025 MLS Cup will stream for free on Apple TV this Saturday, December 6. This marks the conclusion of Major League Soccer’s milestone 30th season, featuring a high-profile match between Inter Miami CF and Vancouver Whitecaps FC. This is set to reach viewers in over 100 countries and regions.
The match presents a significant sporting narrative, as Inter Miami hosts Vancouver for a chance to crown a first-time champion. Beyond the club accolades, the fixture serves as the first MLS meeting between international football veterans Lionel Messi and Thomas Müller. Coverage is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET with pregame analysis, followed by the match kickoff at 2:30 p.m. ET from Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.
For the first time in a live MLS broadcast, the production team will integrate four iPhone 17 Pro Max units positioned throughout the stadium. These devices will function alongside traditional robotic cameras and drones, providing unique, high-definition angles that highlight the advanced video capabilities of the latest iPhone hardware.
Viewers can access the stream through the Apple TV app on their devices. Additionally, Apple is expanding the physical footprint of the event by broadcasting the match live on the “Mega-Zilla” digital display in New York City’s Times Square. For real-time updates, the Apple Sports app will offer complementary features, including live betting odds and Live Activities on the Lock Screen.
