It’s that time of year again! Apple Japan has officially unveiled the details for its annual “Hatsuuri” (First Sale) event to ring in 2026. This year’s promotion runs for four days, from January 2 to January 5, 2026, and includes Gift Cards with eligible purchases. But the real star of the show is the exclusive, limited-edition AirTag.
For 2026, the Cupertino-based company is celebrating with a Daruma-themed AirTag. The Daruma doll is a traditional Japanese symbol of perseverance and good luck. This special AirTag features a unique custom engraving of a Daruma face. It is not available for sale separately; you can only get it by purchasing an eligible iPhone during the event.
