Apple unleashes “Unity Connection” Black Unity Braided Solo Loop

Every year, around the end of January, Apple would introduce a new Black Unity band ahead of Black History Month, which is February. Today is no exception as Apple unveiled its newest band to the Black Unity Collection, which is the “Unity Connection” Braided Solo Loop, which celebrates the power of connection.

As with the other previously released Black Unity bands, this band was designed by Black creatives and allies at Apple. Based on the Pan-African flag, this meticulously crafted watch band depicts multiple shades of red, green, and black for a more vibrant appearance.

This special-edition Braided Solo Loop is available to order today on the Apple Online Store, and it retails for $99. As with most of the other bands that Apple offers, this band is available for both smaller and larger case sizes in band sizes 0-12, and it is compatible with these Apple Watch models (as officially stated from Apple):

  • Apple Watch Series 4 or later
  • All Apple Watch SE models
  • All Apple Watch Ultra models (the band for larger case sizes only)

Additionally, these watch bands in the Black Unity Collection are also available to order:

It appears that Apple has discontinued these watch bands in the Black Unity Collection:

Interestingly enough, unlike with previously released bands in the Black Unity Collection, it seems that Apple didn’t have any new watch faces and/or lock screen wallpapers (for iPhone/iPad) to complement this year’s Black Unity Band as Apple seems to promote this band with the Unity Lights watch face that originally complemented the 2022 Black Unity Braided Solo Loop as seen in today’s press release.

Still, I think this band looks splendid for those who are interested or celebrate Black History Month. What do you think about this band? Let us know in the comments below.
