Last week, as you may already know, Apple celebrated its 50th anniversary on April 1. Now, if you’re like me, you don’t want the celebration to be over just yet. Here are five products you should check out to continue this monumental celebration.
Spigen’s Classic LS Collection
Starting off the list, we have Spigen’s latest Classic LS collection. If you have either the iPhone 17 Pro model, Spigen offers a protective case ($59.99) that’s reminiscent of the original Macintosh in its design language, from its beige appearance to its retrofitted buttons and boxier sides. Spigen is very meticulous about the details of this latest case, as the side button even features the iconic “hello” in cursive; the camera plateau is also fully protected by horizontal ridges. The Classic LS case is also MagSafe-compatible, so you can continue to use it with a wide range of MagSafe accessories, including the complimentary card holder ($39.99). The case also works with Camera Control. Additionally, this phone case also offers a place to attach the complimentary phone strap ($24.99) for more secure gripping and handling. Spigen’s latest collection also offers a complimentary case ($44.99) for your AirPods Pro 3 that more closely resembles Apple’s mouse from that era; however, at the time of this post, that case is backordered, so you may have to wait a bit longer for it to ship. If you want that retro-style look for your modern gear, Spigen has you covered.

1984 collection of MacBook skins from dbrand
However, if you own neither of those products, but you have a MacBook, you should check out the latest collection “1984” from dbrand, which offers skins embossed with a 3D-printed rainbow Apple logo. Chances are, dbrand skins offer color-matching skins for most of the MacBook models that you may have, even the newest MacBook Neo. (For sky blue MacBook Air owners, sorry, you’re out of luck as dbrand just doesn’t offer a color-matching skin for that finish.) The skins start at just $31.95; all in all, applying a skin to your MacBook will certainly give your laptop a brand new look while also protecting it from any scratches.

RayCue Maclock
If you want something that complements your desk or just want a replica of the original Macintosh, look no further than Maclock from RayCue. As the name cleverly implies, it’s a portmanteau of “Mac” and “clock,” as it’s a cute-looking “traditional” alarm clock in the shape of the original Macintosh. Believe it or not, it just feels like a mini version of a real Macintosh. Not only does it tell the date and temperature, but you can also adjust the brightness to your heart’s content or even switch to this “Happy Mac” face. It also charges via USB-C, so you could get up to 60 days on a single charge. One fun detail is that it comes with a miniature floppy disk for you to insert and power the clock on. The Maclock is the ideal and fun add-on that complements any setup that you have. (Amazon link)
Wokyis Retro Docking Station for Mac mini
But if you want more functionality, then you should check out the Retro Docking Station from Wokyis. Not only is it modeled after the original Macintosh, but it’s also designed to fit the super compact Mac mini (M4 or M4 Pro). This docking station provides even more expansion for the Mac mini with a wide variety of ports, such as USB-A ports, SD/micro SD card readers, one USB-C port for data transfer, an HDMI-in port, and even a 3.5mm headphone port. There’s even a slot for you to put in an NVMe SSD at up to 8GB for more storage, along with the built-in display. Although it’s designed specifically for the M4-series Mac mini, this accessory is still compatible with other devices that have either USB-C (DisplayPort) or HDMI. This accessory may as well act as a “secondary monitor” for you to watch videos on that tiny display while working on the larger display. It’s the perfect accessory that complements any computer that you have. (Amazon link)
“Apple: The First 50 Years” Book
Last, but not least, if you want to explore the cumulative history of Apple in its first five decades, look no further than this book that New York Times bestseller David Pogue published. “Apple: The First 50 Years” goes above and beyond just covering the history, as it features full-color pictures/images and even provides interesting tidbits of trivia, as well as other fun facts on people, software, and other artifacts that contribute to Apple. It’s a must-read for any Apple enthusiast. It usually retails for $50.00 for the hardcover edition, but as of now, you could get it on Amazon for under $35.
Conclusion
All in all, there are several ways that you can continue to celebrate Apple’s biggest milestone by decking out with some retro-style gear and even learning more about Apple. So if you’d like to pick up some of those accessories from Spigen or dbrand, you may want to jump on it soon, as those accessories may be available for a limited time. I hope you’ll check out those accessories that I mentioned, and that you’ll find other ways to celebrate Apple’s 50th anniversary.
