Apple’s upcoming event around the next-generation iPhone 12 has been confirmed by Jon Prosser to be held on the 13th of October. This rumor has backed up by information shared with MacRumors by an employee of a UK Cellular carrier.

The employee said Apple would accept pre-orders directly after the event with a launch to follow on Friday, a short time between the announcement and launch. The October 13th date has also been shared by a Dutch Mobile Carrier in a report through AppleInsider.

At the event, it is likely to see 4 new iPhone 12 models, with the 2 Pro devices rumored to be available in late-October or November due to the complexity of the LiDAR scanner and delays. Apple is rumored to release a 5.4-inch iPhone 12 Mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 12, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.

All devices are rumored to have 5G support with the two pro devices to feature a tri-camera system and a LiDAR scanner with enhanced AR capabilities.
