Today is the day that those who do not have Apple TV+ will have the opportunity to watch and stream “A Charlie Brown Christmas” for free thanks to the folks at Apple and PBS.

After an outcry from fans of the special, Apple did make the decision to air the Peanuts holiday specials through PBS since it is a channel that not only everyone is able to get through an antenna or cable/satellite provider, but that PBS does not have commercials on its channels throughout the U.S.

PBS will be airing “A Charlie Brown Christmas” at 7:30 p.m. ET on your local PBS station and the PBS Kids channel.

To stream the Charlie Brown Christmas special, users can download and install the PBS iOS, iPadOS or tvOS app and stream their local station through that method.

If that is not an option, viewers can stream the special through Locast and YouTube TV, which is still the exclusive live TV streaming service that has both PBS and PBS Kids.

PBS, Locast and YouTube TV are all available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.

Additionally, today, Sunday, December 13, is the last day to stream “A Charlie Brown Christmas” through the Apple TV app for free. After today, it will be exclusive to those who are subscribed to Apple TV+.

Apple TV+ costs $4.99 a month after a week-long free trial, which is also available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, select Smart TVs, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, XBOX One, XBOX Series X&S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
