On Wednesday, Apple launched its annual Back To University Program that offers students, faculty, and teachers, in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and South Korea, free AirPods with the purchase of a Mac or iPad and a discount for AppleCare+ and eligible accessories.

Students and faculty can choose between either an Intel or an M1-based MacBook Air or MacBook Pro. Other eligible devices include an iMac, iMac Pro, iPad Air, or iPad Pro. Eligible devices purchased through the program will come bundled with standard AirPods, with the option to upgrade for an additional fee.

Eligible Macs and iPads will be available at an education discount. AppleCare+ protection plans will also be offered at a twenty percent discount.

To redeem the free AirPods offer, customers will need to add an eligible Mac or iPad to the cart and then you’ll be prompted with the option to add your free AirPods when you check out. AirPods with wireless charging and AirPods Pro are available for an additional fee.

Verification through UNiDays is required. The offer is only valid for both new and current students, parents purchasing for students, or faculty and staff. The offer is valid from January 7th, 2021 until March 16th, 2021, at either an Apple Store or Apple Online Education store.
