Today is Opening Day, which is the start of the 2021 MLB regular season.

What a lot of you may not know is that there is a service called MLB.TV in the MLB app that allows you to stream baseball games from a device like an iPhone or Apple TV.

It costs $24.99 a month to stream the games live through the app, which can be subscribed to through the App Store too.

Streaming these games does include streaming out-of-market games. If you missed the game, you can watch the game on-demand through MLB.TV, as well as other on-demand content too.

There are also features for the MLB’s Apple Watch app that will not let you stream games live through it, but it will let you see the scores of all games being played that day and the current standings throughout the league.

Sadly, the Apple TV third generation’s MLB app is no longer supported, therefore, the only way to watch live or on-demand content from that version of the Apple TV will be through AirPlay.

MLB.TV is available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, tvOS Apple TVs (Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K) and Mac.
