A new report by TrendForce states that a new version of the iPhone SE could be out sometime as early as the first quarter of 2022.
If that is the case, then that could mean this new iPhone SE would be released by as late as March 2022, which has been known to be a month has held events in and released new products.
The website also states that it could be the first iPhone SE with support for 5G coverage.
“In terms of product development, Apple is staying with the plan to release its third-generation iPhone SE in 1Q22 and four models under a new series in 2H22. The third-generation iPhone SE is expected to be a major instrument in helping Apple establish a presence in the market segment for mid-range 5G smartphones. Its production volume for 2022 is forecasted to reach 25-30 million units.”
Apple’s current iPhone SE has a 4.7-inch screen and starts at $399 for the 64GB model.
