Tweetbot 6 adds Pinned Lists and other Twitter API V2 changes

Tapbots, the developers of Tweetbot 6, have been hard at work lately with a laundry list of new features to its newest app that was released in early 2021.

However, the app has acquired brand new features as of Wednesday, such as being able to view Pinned Lists, which has previously only been available on the official Twitter app.

The update was made available on Wednesday this week and was released in Version 6.7.2 in the app. The notes of that release can be found below:

– Support for Pinned lists and Twitter’s V2 list API.

– You can swipe across the Nav Bar to quickly switch between your Pinned Lists, Timeline and different Accounts.

– Updated look of various user timelines within the app.

– Accessibility improvements.

Other updates Tweetbot 6 has made this year are the addition of widgets, new themes and app icons, updated verification badges, Picture-In-Picture and adding polls to tweets.

Tweetbot 6 is currently available on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad and costs either $5.99 a year or $0.99 a month. It has a separate Mac app that costs $9.99 in the Mac App Store.
