During Apple’s Peek Performance event on March 8th, the company announced the M1 Ultra chip that can be found on the new Mac Studio machine. Alongside it, Apple announced the Studio Display, and both were released last Friday.

Now, we have a leaked image that gives us a first look at the inside of the Apple Studio Display and it looks pretty impressive.

As reported by MacRumors, they were able to obtain an image of the new product that houses all the internals from Apple:

“While we wait for repair website iFixit to finish its teardown of Apple’s new Studio Display, MacRumors is able to provide a first look at the display’s internal design with an image sourced from Apple’s documentation for technicians.”

Firstly, we can witness from the image that there are three large boards inside the display, two power suppliers, and one housing the A13 Bionic chip as well as the 64GB of storage. Secondly, we can also notice the speakers for the sound system as well as the internal fans that are part of the cooling system the monitor features.

Apple says that the Studio Display features a built-in studio-quality, three-microphone array and high-fidelity six-speaker sound system that uses the A13 Bionic chip to offer crystal-clear calls and voice recordings as well as spatial audio with Dolby Atmos.

Finally, on the top of the monitor, we can see cables connecting the 12MP Ultra-Wide camera with the main motherboard to provide video calls and general usage of the front camera.

Popular tear-down website iFixit and its CEO Kyle Weins said that the tear-down of the Apple Studio Display is underway. Perhaps then we will find out more about the internals of the new monitor soon.
