Springtime is here officially now in the U.S. and soon to follow it are the slow, boring and rainy days. When those days come, here is what you can stream.
TV:
- “iCarly” (Season 2 of the reboot): The second season of the rebooted “iCarly” TV series will be premiering exclusively on Paramount+ starting on Friday, April 8.
- 64th Grammy Awards: It is one of the biggest nights of the year for the music industry and it is set to air at 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, on Paramount+.
- “Better Call Saul”: The newest fifth season of this series will be available to stream on Netflix on Monday, April 4.
- “Ozark” (Season 4, Part 2): Jason Bateman leads this Netflix original series and the last episodes of the show will premiere on Friday, April 29.
- “The Flight Attendant” (Season 2): This Kaley Cuoco-led mystery drama will premiere its second season on Thursday, April 21, on HBO Max.
Movies:
- “Fantastic Beasts: A Natural History”: This documentary is all about the worlds of “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts” and the creatures in the films. It has been released as of today on HBO Max and comes just in time for the release of the new movie, “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” which is set to release in movie theaters on Wednesday, April 6.
- “Office Space”: It’s a classic and one of my personal favorites, and one that could sit well with viewers as “The Great Resignation” keeps going in the U.S. The movie is now available to stream on Paramount+.
- “Herbie: Fully Loaded”: Here is one that the whole family can watch together for both young and old audiences. The movie is currently available to stream on Disney+.
- “Liar Liar”: With the recent news of Jim Carrey retiring, it might be a good time to watch one his classic movies, “Liar Liar.” The movie can be streamed on Peacock.
- “The Batman” (2022): This movie was released last month and has performed well at the box office. With that said, it will be released and make its home on HBO Max on Tuesday, April 19.
Sports:
- NCAA Men’s College Basketball National Championship: The best of the best in college football will compete to be crowned the champion of the land. As of this writing, we still do not know who will be competing in it this year, but can say that it will air at 9:20 p.m. ET on Monday, April 4, on TBS.
- Friday Night Baseball (MLB): Apple will start airing not one but two games the day after MLB Opening Day on Apple TV+. The games will be aired on Friday, April 8. To see the schedule for that day and the rest of the scheduled games set to air on Apple TV+, click here.
- New Jersey vs. Birmingham (United States Football League): The reboot of the USFL is almost here and the first game will air at 7:30 p.m. ET, Saturday, April 16, on FOX, NBC and Peacock.
- 2022 Notre Dame spring game (College Football): Since football is the most popular sport in America, it goes without saying that Americans, even with the USFL on, will still want to watch some good old-fashioned college football. Notre Dame will be having its spring game at 1 p.m. ET, Saturday, April 23, and streaming live on Peacock.
- Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400Â (NASCAR Cup Series): It’ll be the first night race of the season in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series. It is set to air live at 7:30 p.m. ET, Saturday, April 9, on FS1.
