It has been a couple of weeks now since Apple discontinued the iPod Touch for good, and with that, you can now say it is a moment in company history.
As found by Appleosophy’s very own Heedo Abu Laban, he stated on Twitter that Apple has removed the iPod Touch from its website in countries like Canada, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden and Switzerland.
The spirit of iPod lives on, but not on https://t.co/zpLgO6ynvC anymore: Apple has removed the iPod Touch on its website on many countries such as Canada, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland”¦ pic.twitter.com/riGnhl6EaW

Those that try to access the iPod Touch page on Apple’s website through search engines like Google outside of the U.S. are directed to the Apple Support page. From there, users are given access to the manual for the iPod Touch, its specs and talks about adding AppleCare to the product.
At this time, the iPod Touch page in the U.S. is still active, despite the product being sold out through Apple’s website.
What are your thoughts on this and when do you think Apple will shut down its iPod Touch page in the U.S.? Comment below or let us know on Twitter at @appleosophy.
