Apple has revealed that its fourth Apple Retail store in South Korea will open on September 24th in the Songpa-gu District. Officially named Apple Jamsil, this store will follow Apple Myeongdong, which opened a few months ago across the Han River.
“A new Apple Store is coming soon to Jamsil, which has led to Seoul’s prosperity,” says the official store webpage. “The colorful thoughts of each other come together and unfold like silk.”
Apple markets the new store as “a very special space for you.” The website also adds, “do you want to bring a unique idea to life or get inspired by something different?”
“A new Apple Store is coming soon in Jamsil, which has led to Seoul’s prosperity.
Do you want to bring a unique idea to life or get inspired by something different? Or do you need time to recharge in your exhausted daily life? A very special space for you, Apple Jamsil. Now, here, the colorful thoughts of each other come together and unfold like a piece of silk.”
In April 2022, Apple opened its largest Apple Retail Store in the country, Apple Myeongdong. The store will sit ten miles across the Han River from Apple Jamsil. These stores feature a Forum that hosts Today at Apple sessions, avenues stocked with the latest Apple accessories, specialists, and Genius eager to help you pick a new device or get help. Apple Myeongdong is also the first Apple Retail Store in Asia to have a dedicated Apple Pickup area.
I am always excited to see what new Apple Stores will offer in terms of architecture, design cues that harness local culture, and new offerings. Apple Jamsil will join Apple Myeongdong, Apple Yeouido, and Apple Garosu-gil when it opens to the public on September 24th.
