As WWDC nears, we’re anticipating some all-new or updated Mac models that will be announced as soon as tomorrow. At the same time, Apple’s annual Back to School promotion is expected to kick off on Tuesday, June 6 – the day after the WWDC opening keynote, according to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg.

This promotion is available to education customers such as current/incoming college students, staff employees at both K-12/higher-education institutions, and parents purchasing on behalf of an eligible student.
Last year’s promotion featured an Apple gift card worth up to $150 included on top of the 5-10% discount on purchases of an eligible Mac or iPad. Apple previously offered AirPods included with purchases of an eligible Mac or iPad back in 2021. If history repeats itself, we’ll most likely see Apple gift cards included with eligible Mac and iPad models from this promotion.
The annual promotion will most likely go live in the U.S. and Canada this coming Tuesday, with Eurasia countries to follow suit a few weeks later.
We will likely see the highly-anticipated 15-inch MacBook Air as well as the updated Mac Studio with M2 Max and M2 Ultra chips as Apple has internally announced to its retail stores that it will add the M2 MacBook Air to the trade-in program.
The opening keynote for WWDC will go live at 10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EDT.
