The 2024 United States General Election is coming up soon and with the way how cord cutting and streaming services have infiltrated our every day life, you’re probably wondering how you’re going to stream and watch coverage of this year’s election results.

Please note that the election this year is on Tuesday, November 5.

If there is any good news for both sides, it is that there will be plenty of ways to stream and watch live coverage of this year’s election.

Election 2020 coverage

Here are some of those methods you can use:

If you are looking to get coverage from your local news stations, that will be more so a job for a live TV streaming service like YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, or FuboTV. Those live TV streaming services have access to your local TV station in most TV markets. However, Paramount+ with your local CBS station or Peacock with your local NBC station are options too.

You could also look into apps and streaming services like NewsOn that do provide local news coverage for select local TV stations across the U.S. as well.

When it comes to national coverage such as CNN, MSNBC, and FOX News, that once again will mainly consist of being a subscriber to live TV streaming services such as Sling TV, YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, and FuboTV.

However, there are some free streaming options too.

Ad-supported streaming services like Pluto TV will include news channels that will have election coverage. These include channels like CBS News 24/7, NBC News Now, ABC News Live, Scripps News, and BBC News.

A lot of those same channels can be found on other ad-supported streaming services such as Tubi, XUMO, and Amazon Freevee.

Speaking of Amazon, it will be hosting its own election coverage with Brian Williams on Prime Video at 5 p.m. ET on Tuesday evening.

PBS will additionally be having its own election coverage on its linear channels, as well as on its app and YouTube Channel.

It should also be said that those that have a subscription to either Disney+ or Hulu will be able to access ABC News Live election coverage through those services.

All of the streaming services mentioned above are available to stream on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
