Apple has started rolling out macOS Sequoia 15.3.1 to the public with security improvements.

This update comes more than two weeks after the release of macOS Sequoia 15.3 which debuted new Apple Intelligence features such as Genmoji creation, changes to Notification Summary, and more. Apple keeps refining the software experience with every 15.x.x. update whilst also fixing issues.

According to Apple, “This update provides important security fixes and is recommended for all users. For information on the security content of Apple software updates, please visit this website: https://support.apple.com/100100

However, Apple is yet to publish CVE entries for this update — but we can expect it to be published soon.

macOS Sequoia 15.3.1 is available on all devices that support macOS Sequoia 15.0 including:

  • MacBook Air (2020 and later)
  • MacBook Pro (2018 and later)
  • iMac (2019 and later)
  • iMac Pro (2017)
  • Mac mini (2018 and later)
  • Mac Studio (2022 and later)
