Apple TV+ just had its most triumphant moment at the Emmys yet. Last night, the streaming service racked up a staggering 22 wins across the Primetime and Creative Arts ceremonies, marking its best showing ever. What made this night special? It wasn’t just the numbers—though those are impressive—but the breakout success of fresh hits alongside established favorites. Let’s break down the key victories by show, starting with the undisputed star of the evening.

The Studio

If there’s one show that stole the spotlight, it’s The Studio, the sharp Hollywood satire starring Seth Rogen as a hapless studio exec navigating Tinseltown chaos. This Lionsgate-produced gem exploded onto the scene with 13 Emmy wins, surpassing even The Bear‘s previous record.

The Primetime Emmys alone delivered four major awards:

  • Outstanding Comedy Series: The Studio took home the top prize, beating out shows like Abbott Elementary and Hacks.
  • Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series: Seth Rogen, in a performance blending awkward charm and biting wit.
  • Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series: Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, for their masterful episode “The Oner.”
  • Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series: The writing team of Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Frida Perez, for the episode “The Promotion.”

But the wins didn’t stop there. The Studio scooped up nine additional trophies at the Creative Arts Emmys in technical categories like editing, sound design, and production.

Severance

Apple’s mind-bending thriller Severance continued its hot streak, securing eight Emmys in total and proving that sci-fi drama can pack an emotional wallop. With 27 nominations going in—the most for any series—this show about work-life severance gone wrong resonated deeply with audiences tired of real-world burnout.

In the Primetime ceremony, it notched two wins:

  • Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series: Britt Lower, whose portrayal of Helly R. captured the terror and triumph of breaking free.
  • Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series: Tramell Tillman, making history as the first Black man to win in this category for his role as Mr. Milchick.

The Creative Arts Emmys added six more to the list.

Slow Horses

Rounding out Apple’s wins was the gritty espionage series Slow Horses, which earned one Primetime Emmy:

  • Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series: Adam Randall, for his taut direction that keeps the tension high amid MI5 mishaps.

This nod celebrates the show’s clever blend of humor and high stakes, starring Gary Oldman as a demoted spy chief.
