With the introduction of the new iPhone 17 series back in September, Apple also released a 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max. As the name suggests, the adapter should be able to provide sustained 40W of power, with 60W being the maximum power it can provide. Apple claims that this adapter can charge an iPhone 17 model from 0-50% in just 20 minutes.

That said, Apple is releasing this new adapter in more countries, specifically those that use Type-G plugs, as reported by MacRumors. The Type-G version features three prongs that also fold, much like the two-prong version currently being sold in countries like the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, China, Taiwan, and the Philippines.

Customers in the United Kingdom, Ireland, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia will now be able to purchase the new three-prong variant.
