Air France has officially joined forces with Apple TV to bring premium streaming content to its passengers at 30,000 feet. Starting this January, travelers on long-haul flights can enjoy more than 45 hours of award-winning Apple TV original content directly from their seatback screens. Passengers now have access to a dedicated channel within the in-flight entertainment (IFE) system featuring some of Apple’s most acclaimed series. The lineup includes fan-favorites such as Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, and Severance.
The selection isn’t just limited to dramas and comedies; Air France has also included a variety of documentaries and children’s programming. Travelers can dive into Prehistoric Planet or join Eugene Levy in The Reluctant Traveler. For younger flyers, shows like WondLa and The Snoopy Show are now available.
To ensure all passengers can enjoy the new content, the first three episodes of each featured series are available in both French and English. The system also includes subtitles and accessibility options specifically designed for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. In addition to the seatback screens, Air France is offering a unique trial experience through its new high-speed Wi-Fi portal. Passengers can get one week of free access to Apple TV content, allowing them to stream shows on their personal devices while in the air and continue watching even after they land.
This high-speed Wi-Fi service is currently being rolled out across the entire fleet. While already available on many routes, the airline expects to have the service fully extended to all aircraft, including regional planes, by the end of the year. The Apple TV partnership is part of Air France’s broader push to modernize its cabin experience. The newest cabins feature 4K anti-glare screens with Bluetooth connectivity, making it easy to use personal headphones.
