Apple rolls out the seventh developer betas of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and more

Apple has started rolling out the seventh betas of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, tvOS 27, watchOS 27, and visionOS 27 to developers. These updates come one week after the release of the sixth beta software for these versions.

The updates include improvements to Liquid Glass, a new Siri AI, new Screen Time options, and more, announced at WWDC held last month. The previous iOS 27 beta was released with notable new features and changes, and you can read more about them here.

Here are the build numbers for the new developer betas:

• iOS 27.0 and iPadOS 27.0 Beta 7: 24A5424a
• macOS Golden Gate 27.0 Beta 7: 26A5421a
• tvOS 27.0 Beta 7: 24J5358a
• watchOS 27.0 Beta 7: 24R5358a
• visionOS 27.0 Beta 7: 24M5359a

Usually, as we progress through the beta cycle, the letter at the end of a build number is in descending order. The letter ‘a’ towards the end of the build number indicates that we are very close to the Release Candidate. We can expect 1-2 more betas, followed by the Release Candidate on the iPhone event day. The next betas for version 27.0 are expected to be rolled out after one week. We can also expect the release of the fifth public beta soon. Users who are registered as a developer on www.developer.apple.com can opt in to receive beta updates by going into Settings>General>Software Update>Beta Updates and selecting Developer Beta.

Do note that these versions are not stable and are meant for testing purposes. They are not recommended to be downloaded on a primary device due to the nature of beta software.
