How to Stream WWDC 2018

Avatar for David Becker

Today is the day of Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC), which is being presented in San Jose, California at the McEnery Convention Center at 10 a.m. PDT.

This year, the event plans to talk about and show off the newest versions of iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS. As of right now, there are no plans of any new hardware being unveiled this year.

The way how we can assume that right now is that the Apple Store is not down online right now, whereas if Apple was going to unveil new hardware and products today for sale, they would have the Apple Store down.

With all of that said, the way how users can stream the Apple Event today is by going to the company’s website and going to the Events page. From there, at 10 a.m. PDT, the company will be providing a livestream of the event. This works for the iPhone, iPad and Mac.

If you are looking to watch WWDC on your Apple TV, you will be able to stream it in the Apple Events tvOS app. It is available on every Apple TV except the first generation Apple TV. This means that if you still have an Apple TV third generation, you will still be able to stream the event on the device even though it is outdated and Apple no longer sells it.

Of course, if you cannot stream the event this year, be sure to be following TeamApple News on Twitter (@teamapplenews), where we will be live-tweeting the event as it goes on, as well as a follow-up of everything that happened at the event.

We hope that WWDC is just as good (if not better) as it has been all of the other previous years. Comment down below and tell us what you are looking forward to hearing about today and what new things Apple may showcase today at WWDC.
