To celebrate the company’s fifth birthday, Sling TV is giving its customers five days of five Extras at no extra charge to the customer. They are calling it their “Slingerversary.”
Customers received an email this morning about the promotion, which shows them the Extras they will get from the service and how long they will be able to get them.
This is available to customers on both the Sling Orange and Sling Blue plans. The Extras that customers are getting are the Sports Extra, News Extra, Kids Extra, Lifestyle Extra and Comedy Extra. It’s a value of $30 that customers are getting for free during this period.
The promotion also comes as February 9, 2020, is Cut the Cord Day and since Sling TV is a live TV streaming option for customers, the timing of the company’s birthday, as well as the Cut the Cord Day holiday, is nothing but perfect.
In order to get this promotion to work on your Sling TV account, all you have to do is click on the “Watch My Free Extras” button in the email. Once you have done that, the channels will be added to your channel guide and lineup.
I also suggest that if you are going to do it, then you should do it from a laptop to ensure that it works and is done properly.
Sling TV currently costs $30 a month for either the Sling Orange or Sling Blue plan, and there is a Sling Orange + Blue plan that costs $44.99 per month. The service can be streamed on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
