We reported earlier this week that one of our readers had found a transaction on eBay that allowed users to pay with Apple Pay. As of this morning, I personally have found more of them.
Now, at this moment, I have not purchased anything from the site with Apple Pay, but I can say that when you do go to make a purchase, you will be given an option for payment at the payment menu. Once you tap the Apple Pay icon, then you should be able to pay for it with Apple Pay from there.
In my experience, the most popular spot to find Apple Pay as a payment option was actually searching for football cards. I have not collected them since I was much younger, but I was just typing in all of the most random things that I could think of, and football cards have a lot of Apple Pay when it comes to payment options.
Needless to say, although it’s a small and slow start, Apple Pay is currently available as a payment option on eBay now. eBay is expecting a full rollout of Apple Pay by 2021.
