It looks as though Apple intends on making that notch on its 2020 iPhone just a little bit smaller.
Jon Prosser, the founder of Front Page Tech on YouTube, has reported on Twitter shots of what appears to be this year’s new iPhone that will not have as large of a notch like it has since the iPhone X was released in November 2017.

It is unknown where the leaks are from, but Prosser does have a reputation of being accurate with new Apple products and news regarding releases.
There have not been many rumors regarding the 2020 iPhone this year, but that it could have a different style body design as well as a glass rear like the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.
If Apple keeps to tradition, we can expect to see the 2020 iPhone in September 2020 at its fall event, with a release in either late-September or early-October.
