Apple has released macOS Catalina 10.15.6 Beta 1 to developers along with the releases of iOS 13.5.1, iPadOS 13.5.1, tvOS 13.4.5, and HomePod Software Version 13.4.6 to the public today. This update comes almost after a week macOS Catalina 10.15.5 was released to the public with a new Battery Health Management Feature. Read more about macOS 10.15.5 here.
While Apple has not mentioned anything about macOS Catalina 10.15.6 Beta 1 in their Release Notes, they have also released a Supplemental Security Update for macOS Catalina 10.15.5 and macOS High Sierra 10.13.6.
According to Apple,
“–Available for: macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, macOS Catalina 10.15.5
–Impact: An application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges
–Description: A memory consumption issue was addressed with improved memory handling.
