Apple has further expanded its American Airlines partnership, now offering free Apple TV+ as part of the in-flight entertainment option via ThePointsGuy.
American Airlines expanded its partnership quietly. Beginning from August 1, American Airlines will offer a handful of shows from Apple TV+, rotated every month with new content. If the Aircraft your aboard is equipped with seat-back entertainment, you will find a selection of shows on the screen, if not you will need to bring your own device. The titles available now are listed below:
- The Morning Show
- Defending Jacob
- Dickinson
- For All Mankind
- Ghostwriter
- Helpsters
- Home Before Dark
- Little America
- Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet
- Oprah’s Book Club
- Snoopy in Space
Last year Apple partnered with American Airlines and offered Apple Music streaming on any flight operated by American Airlines in the United States with no Wi-Fi package purchase needed to access Apple Music, though a subscription is required.
Apple TV+ is available through the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, iPod, Mac and Apple TV along with certain Samsung and LG TVs, and online at tv.apple.com.
