It has been announced by ESPN that its streaming service, ESPN+, will see a price increase soon. The good news for sports fans is that the price increase will not be by much.

On Aug. 12, the price of ESPN+ will go from $4.99 a month to $5.99 a month. Note that this price increase will not impact the Disney+ bundle that is still $12.99 a month or the ad-free Hulu bundle that is $18.99 a month.

The streaming service can be subscribed to through Apple too (not the Disney+ or ad-free Hulu bundles)

ESPN+ has live sports such as NHL, MLB, MLS and select college sporting events.

In addition to live sports, it also has on-demand programming like “Petyon’s Places” and “30 for 30, and many others.

ESPN+ is accessed in the ESPN app, which is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Apple TV. ESPN+ content can be accessed from the ESPN website once you have signed into your account.
