Apple is considering producing the Apple Car independently without partnerships.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman & Gabrielle Coppola, the tech giant will reportedly make a deal with a contract manufacturer to produce the Apple Car without partnering with companies like Hyundai or Kia.
This way of production will be very similar to the iPhone, with Bloomberg naming top manufacturers like Magna International and Foxconn, this will also help Apple in not having to build its own factories and relying on big-named automotive companies.
Apple has been in direct talks with Hyundai/Kia for the past three months, with speculation on the Apple Car and who will produce it alongside Apple, but they reached a dead end with many saying that talks have halted.
Apple’s ”Project Titan” is reportedly slated for the 2025-2028 launch so far.
