Yesterday, the iPhone 13 lineup debuted in many countries, with more on the way. But even one day later, the rumors and leaks regarding the 2022’s iPhone 14 are already at a great start.
We saw the first leak regarding the iPhone 14 earlier this month with Jon Prosser and Ian Zelbo’s device renders, and now there is new information from reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo confirming some of the design seen from the renders:
According to the known analyst, Apple will completely ditch the notch on 2022’s iPhone 14 and replace it with a hole-punch display seen on many Android competitors.
Kuo adds more and notes that the wide camera on the iPhone 14 will be 48MP, a massive jump from the 12MP on the iPhone 13 lineup.
But this is not the end, Apple is also expected to launch a 6.7″ iPhone that will replace the iPhone 13 mini, with the latter becoming the final mini iPhone.
And there is even more, Kuo reiterates his previous statement that the Cupertino-based giant will release a new iPhone SE sometime but now says that the device will feature a hole-punch display too. This matches other rumors from Ross Young where they said the same info.
Apple’s latest iPhone SE was released in April 2020 and featured a nifty camera system and a powerful A13 Bionic chip while keeping the outdated 4.7″ display with the big bezels.
