Apple was expected to reveal AirPods 3 during last month’s event. However, it was not, but a reliable leaker is stating that the company will announce the new earbuds in next week’s event.
According to Weibo user @PandaIsBald, Apple is likely to announce AirPods 3 during its “Unleashed” Apple event next week on October 18th.
The Weibo user accurately predicted that Apple will launch a 9th Gen iPad, the user is also claiming that the iPhone 14 will keep the notch while the pro models will gain a hole-punch display.
AirPods 3 are rumored to include a new design, a new case, and a shorter stem inspired by the current AirPods Pro. The design refresh will be a first since the latter product back in 2019.
Gurman said that the AirPods Pro 2 will feature a smaller design and updated motion sensors. Fitness Tracking will also be a big focus of the earbuds.
Minutes before Apple’s September event began, dBrand listed AirPods 3 cases where it was then expected to debut.
Apple has sent out invitations for next week’s October 18th event, where the company will reveal the much-anticipated refreshed MacBook Pros with the updated M1X chip. Adding to the faster chip, we could see the SD card slot and the HDMI port return in alongside a new design, and bigger displays with 120Hz.
