Apple offering Free AirPods with Back to University Promotion in Australia and New Zealand

Soon after the announcement of the new MacBook Pro and Mac mini, Apple launched the “Back to University” promotion in Australia and New Zealand offering Free AirPods with an eligible Mac or iPad purchase to Students, Teachers, and Educational Staff at all levels. Most Macs, including the newly announced MacBook Pro are included in this offer. This offer is valid from January 18th, 2023 to March 13th, 2023. In addition to the Education Discount, eligible customers will also receive AirPods (2nd generation) for free. Apple is also offering upgrade options to the AirPods (3rd generation with Lightning Charging Case), AirPods (3rd generation with MagSafe Charging Case), and AirPods Pro (2nd generation) where customers will need to pay only the difference amount between the AirPods (2nd generation) and the AirPods model they’ve chosen.

Australia:

AirPods (2nd generation) worth A$219, but offered for free under this promotion.

AirPods (3rd generation with Lightning Charging Case)  worth A$279, but offered at A$60 under this promotion.

AirPods (3rd generation with Lightning Charging Case) – worth A$289, but offered at A$70 under this promotion.

AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) – worth A$399, but offered at A$180 under this promotion.

New Zealand:

AirPods (2nd generation) – worth NZ$249, but offered for free under this promotion.

AirPods (3rd generation with Lightning Charging Case) –  worth NZ$329, but offered at NZ$80 under this promotion.

AirPods (3rd generation with Lightning Charging Case) – worth NZ$349, but offered at NZ$100 under this promotion.

AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) – worth NZ$479, but offered at NZ$230 under this promotion.

 

To avail this offer, you would need to purchase any one of the following products:

MacBook Air (13-inch, M1 or M2 chip)

MacBook Pro (13-inch – M2 chip)

New MacBook Pro (14-inch & 16-inch – M2 Pro or M2 Max chip)

iMac (24-inch – M1 chip)

Similar to previous Back to University Promotions, the base iPad models, iPad mini, Mac mini, Mac Studio, Mac Pro, and refurbished devices are not eligible under this offer. Do note that you can only purchase one device under this promotion.
