Last week, Apple announced a new color for the standard iPhone 14 models, which now comes in a bright, fun yellow color in time for the spring season in the Northern Hemisphere. Every spring, Apple offers an additional color to its iPhone lineup in the middle of the product cycle to boost sales before the company launches its next generation of smartphones in September. To promote the new color, Apple released a new TV ad that combines live-action and animated scenes. The song this ad use is “Le Banana Split” by Lio.
To refresh your memory, the iPhone 14 is largely identical to the previous iPhone 13 in terms of design. However, we don’t get a mini-sized iPhone this time. Instead, we have the iPhone 14 with a 6.1-inch display and the iPhone 14 Plus with a 6.7-inch display. The main improvements to the iPhone 14 line include camera enhancements, Crash Detection, and Emergency SOS via Satellite. If you live in the U.S., the iPhone 14 eliminates the SIM card tray with eSIM as the only solution for traveling.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus in yellow are now available starting today along with the other existing color options: Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple, and (PRODUCT)RED.
