One issue for sports fans within the last year has been streaming the FOX Regional Sports Networks.
The primary reason for this is due to its new ownership, which is Sinclair Boradcasting Group.
Most of the live TV streaming services such as Sling TV, fuboTV and others have been forced to remove the networks from their channel lineups due to their inability to get a new contract with Slinclair.
Tonight, YouTube TV reported on its Twitter account that starting Thursday, October 1, it will be dropping all of the FOX RSNs from its channel lineup.
To bring you 85+ channels, we periodically renegotiate contracts with content owners. In February, we announced we had negotiated an extension with Sinclair to continue providing FOX Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) through the end of MLB, NHL and NBA seasons.

Now that the seasons are over, that extension is expiring. Starting October 1, 2020, FOX RSNs will no longer be available on YouTube TV. Members that are impacted will no longer have access to Library recordings from the FOX RSNs.

- FOX Sports Oklahoma
- FOX Sports Southwest
- FOX Sports San Diego
While the loss of those channels is disheartening to sports fans, the service did recently add NFL Network and NFL RedZone right before the 2020 NFL season started and also added Viacom channels this past summer, so the service still has something to offer to its customers.
At this time, the only way to stream FOX RSNs is through Hulu with Live TV for $54.99 a month, AT&T TV starting at $59.99 a month and AT&T TV NOW starting at $55 a month.
YouTube TV is available for $64.99 a month and can be streamed on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
